Juan De Freitas is a master's student in aerospace engineering with a bachelor’s degree in transport system engineering, dedicated to the field of aerospace engineering. Although Juan
has acquired knowledge in the fields of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, aircraft engines, flight guidance, air traffic, and airline management, his biggest passion and focus lies in
the design of airplanes.
As a student, Juan was enrolled in projects involving the conceptual and preliminary design of a narrow-body commercial aircraft, which included the design of an airplane family. His
expertise in aircraft design extends beyond commercial aviation; during his bachelor thesis, Juan investigated novel and disruptive technologies and their integration possibilities
for future aircraft concepts for Urban Air Mobility.
Juan's experiences have allowed him to develop a deep understanding of the development of complex engineering systems.
